[TPIN] Playing in the Cold

Played a job Thurs nite at an outside venue...
A patio with a tent over it and fire pits inside.
Everybody thought it was the coolest - except for the band.
My horn turned ice cold whenever I put it down. Not only between sets, 
but whenever I played percussion then picked up the horn, man, those 
first notes were squirrely! What's the trick to playing in the cold?
