It's interesting, I was planning to ask if anyone was using something
other that metal snakes and I saw your post. Looks like it's worth a
try. How about cleaning the brushes themselves? Soap and water?

Speaking of cleaning trumpets, I've been known to be pretty negligent,
but I'm trying to improve;-) So, in the spirit of efficient
embouchures, how about efficient cleaning techniques? (Fastest ways to
produce high-quality results while minimizing risk of horn damage.)
