[TPIN] Broken valve

All,

I have an old Yamaha flugal that I bought in 1978 when they first came out
(I think). I haven't had a lot done to this horn and on a gig the other day,
the top part of the first valve actually separated from the bottom part
where the ports are. Unlike valves with the springs in the top, these have
the springs inside the casing on the bottom. So, the top part of the valve
doesn't actually screw into the piston.

So, it came loose.. I can put it back in there, but it just comes loose
again. Any suggestions on fixing this thing before my gig tomorrow morning?
Completely forgot about it until tonight. I'm thinking of using JB Weld on
it.
