[TPIN] lead mouthpieces - well maybe!

I would content that the biggest difference in playing lead from other types 
of trumpet playing (small group jazz, orchestral section work, brass 
quintent, whatever)... is the volume and *intensity* of style required first, 
register no more than 2nd.  Huge difference from other sorts of playing.

There is also a big difference between doing it "here and there", and having 
to play lead on a regular basis, which drives equipment choice.
