[TPIN] Bach stuff

FWIW, I've never had a single conductor in any classical setting ask me what
kind of trumpet I was playing - even whether it was a C or not. So I'm not
sure where one would go to collect the information on what's the Bach of
choice? Who's choice?

p.s. I've played many church gigs with 1st tpt on picc and me playing 2nd on Bb
and we blended perfectly. Is it the horn (a CG Benge) or is it just because
I'm so damn good (even though I never played in the Kenton Band - though I'm
having a helluva good time ripping through "The Singing Oyster," and "The Big
Chase," this term)? Personally, I think that possessing a good concept on how
something should sound, and a using a cooperative instrument is more important
than selecting a specific horn with a specific bore, bell, lead-pipe, mpc
backbore, etc.

p.p.s. monettes are heavy and overpriced too!
