I'd be interested in that book. I have both CD sets of Frank Sinatra, Capital and Columbia and always assumed that the lead player on many of these dates was Gozzo. Does anyone have any insight on how much Gozzo worked with Sinatra? I really know very little about him from a biographical standpoint.

Nick,

I received a reply from Del Lyren yesterday after I had emailed him concerning any information on the Goz. He is trying to do a book and has been working with Summit Records to cary it. However, his teaching and performance schedule has just made it difficult for him to complete it. I hope he does because I know several people who would purchase it. Goozo is indeed a legend and maybe the best lead player ever. I know that he is a hero of players like George Graham and Wayne Bergeron. I have heard both of them mention him as one of their favorite all-time players.

Mike
