Jon,

Are you sure someone didn't stick a 5x bell on a 6x frame?
Does the bell ferrule have a number on it, or is there just
a number on the bell stamp?

Standard 5x's were 0.460". I don't recall that there was
even a stock MLP 5x - not that you couldn't order one  ...
