And, I'll add my two cents to what Jim and Jon have already said by saying
that you might be very pleased with the results of having your horn
completely stripped (by someone who knows what they're doing).  I've
probably already over-plugged Ken Larson's work on this list, but he
stripped my early Bach last year, did a PVA, and made a couple of other
adjustments, and I can't say enough positive things about that horn now.  I
love it!  In fact, Ken won't even re-lacquer a horn for his clients.  He
just refuses to do it.
