Does anyone on the list have some recommendations for some music written for
(not arranged or transcribed) for brass quintet and organ?

TIA.

Tim,

I'm a little late responding, but I just had the privilege of getting a
sneak preview of a new piece for BQ and organ by Richard (Rick) Arnest.
He's a composer, and friend of mine, in Cincinnati who has some pretty cool
stuff coming out these days. His new work is called "Eclore Eclaire
Cuivre," (don't ask me what that means, I have no idea) and I'm sure he'd be
willing to send you and others on the list an MP3, and/or a PDF of the
score, for review. I'm not sure what you're looking for, specifically, but
this piece sounds like it might do quite nicely for an Easter service with a
big pipe organ somewhere. Check with Rick on the price, but I think he's
going to publish this piece at around $25, which is a bargain.

Give him a shout at info at musicunderconstruction.com. (I've cc'd him on this
post, as a courtesy).

Mark
