I have not seen anyone else mention it, so let me throw out that the 
current issue of Jazz Improv magazine (just an awesome magazine if you 
are not already a subscriber)  has a large section devoted to Louis 
Armstrong, and a "Final Interview" with Maynard.

the companion CD also has some great stuff, including stuff by Jan 
Faddis, Armstrong, and our own Flip Oakes sponsors some stuff by Dan 
McMillion.
