Although I've been told by organists that I play with that I am the best wedding
trumpet player around and also the cheapest, I haven't raised my price to the
level the other guys are getting yet because I'm not getting very many gigs lately.
I feel that if I were busier than I wanted to be with weddings, I could charge
more, but since I'm not, hopefully my cheaper price will be an incentive for hiring.
And honestly, my modesty tells me that I'm not really that good to be asking for
that high of a fee. Unusual for a trumpet player, eh?
