Yes. I have learned a lot from reading the posts of the pro's on this list. 
(even if I seem to be a narrow minded old codger that argues with everyone) 
People like Wilmer Wise and Mike Vax have told me a lot of things that made 
me rethink my methods and experiment my way to better playing....In a sense, 
I can say that I am a student of all these folks. After all, if they never 
improved anyone's playing, why would they bother to post anything at all? 
And, conversely, if I never learned anything, why would I bother to read all 
this stuff?
    Of course, I wouldn't presume to say that I "was a student of...." But I 
can certainly say that I have, "Consulted with....."
