[TPIN] Military Bands - a new thread?

Well, does it count if you auditioned? I auditioned for and was
accepted into both the Army and Navy bands in Washington, DC in
1970. Would have been a sargeant (E-5 or 6), but managed to fail the
physical (long story). Yes, height of the Vietnam War, crazy
times......more story to tell, but some other time. At any rate,
never got to play in the military. Dave
