Here's some info from an "inside" source at Bach:
"There is no doubt that Bach has been heavily affected by the strike, and
I am sure production has been awfully slow. there is no way Tedd is
going to let s--- out of the doors, and he has had his hands tied until
they get the right people making the horns again. So sure, it's been a
painful time, but that is turning around. I think numbers will be up in a
few weeks/ couple of months, and the quality will be better than ever..
for instance, they are replacing the bell bending jig which was worn
from many decades of use, to square up that bend, make a better joint at
the 1st valve, etc.. one example. He is pumped about where they are
going, and again, the high skill guys have crossed the line and come
back to work.
