[TPIN] help - surgical recovery

Hi all,
   
       Maybe it's a little early to worry about, but I had prostate surgery less than 2 weeks ago and wonder if I'll be able to continue on trumpet.  I've only picked it up twice since then, and I can already see that pelvic and abdominal muscles don't have the strength or responsiveness they had, and not just for blowing trumpet.  In addition, I'm a 65-year-old guy who has only been playing the horn for 3 years, so the development of those muscles for trumpet playing was not very advanced in any case.  There are probably some of you out there who've had to deal with this problem and can provide some insight, pointers, etc. on recovering whatever chops I had.
       Perhaps more important than the above, the surgery was successful, so thanks in advance for kind thoughts.
