[TPIN] Aneurysm and horn playing

    Dear all,

     If left untreated, Aortic Aneurysms burst and are frequently fatal, 
so I'm assuming your friend has already had it surgically repaired.  In 
that case, I agree that he should ask his surgeon how long he should 
wait until beginning to play his horn again.  Most likely, after a few 
months he can resume playing normally, but as with any serious abdominal 
surgery, he really needs to check carefully with the surgeon.
