Brian -- I have one, though somewhat older than yours.
 For what it's worth, I have several LA Benges and one
Burbank.  The UMI horn I have is NOT a clearly
inferior instrument in comparison.  It is well built,
and plays like a Benge.   But the common wisdom is
that they're not REAL Benges, and regardless of how
they play they aren't as valuable.
