They are certainly beautiful.

What was the process you used to determine where the vibrations were, 
and how did you determine how to place wood around the mouthpiece to 
increase the vibes in some places and decrease in others? How does the 
wood do that? How do mouthpiece vibrations differ along the exterior of 
the piece?

Has there been any blind testing? I ask because my expectation is that 
something like this will work only if the player wants to to work; in 
other words, that there is no physical basis for it doing anything other 
than making the trumpet prettier and just a little bit heavier.
