I wouldn't mind having a gig at a race track where they do play herald
trumpets. What sucks is when the trumpeter calls the next set of horses to
the post and the nag I bet on the race before is still running. Even though
it was 40 years ago, I still curse a nag named 'Navy Band' at Pimlico that I
dropped $100 at 20 to 1 odds who lead the pack and just before he reached
the finish line bumped into the rail and ended up dead last. BAH HUMBUG! 8-)
