I just purchased the Conn 80A cornet with serial number 321XXX on Ebay. It was made in 1947 according to my findings. The horn has no dents and the lacquer is about 60%. The cornet has new felts and corks, was chem cleaned and had a valve alignment according to the seller. My winning bid was $187.50. I feel I got a pretty good deal. John
