While not exactly trumpet related, this is a lovely thing written and played
by Bob Brookmeyer on piano. On part of the clip, he does play VBone and
features a nice flugel solo by someone I don't recognize.

While instrumentalists tend to gravitate to listening to players of their
own instruments, it doesn't hurt for us to spend some time listening closely
to players of other instruments. It opens the ears and the mind. Speaking of
hearing problems, I found that my overall physical hearing has improved now
that I've stopped using headphones on my Bose and let it do what it's
designed to do. There's a lot of truth to the notion that not only do we
hear thru our ears, but we also hear thru our body. You can't do that if all
you listen thru is the headset.
