[TPIN] Starting a beginner on a Cornet vs Trumpet

I'm no teacher, but the best reason is that most beginners are young and
small of stature, and modern cornet wraps place the valve cluster closer
to the body and the instrument is therefore easier for a young musician
to hold properly.
I'll leave it to my betters (and some of my worsers) to speak to the
sweeter and more vocal timbres a cornet with a cornet mouthpiece is
capable of, and whether that and the perhaps more agile qualities over
trumpets makes a big difference for beginners.
