[TPIN] RE: ITG watering holes etc.

Hi folks,

Just a short note to tell you all how much I enjoyed meeting so many of you last week at ITG. That was my first conference and I know it won't be my last. What a fabulous week, and what fabulous people you all are. I'd like to mention everyone by name, but I'd be sure to forget someone and then I'd feel terrible for leaving somebody out. So please accept this as a blanket "great to get to know you". That being said I'd  like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Paul Kurtz for introducing me to deep fried pickles at the first TPIN hang at ITG on Tuesday night. My initial reaction to Paul's offer to try one was to politely turn him down (I mean c'mon.....deep fried PICKLES???) I'm so very glad I tried them as they were absolutely delicious!! THANK YOU PAUL!!!

I went for dinner with John and Phyllis Stork on Thursday night. After initially balking at my suggestion to try a deep fried pickle, Phyllis finally caved in....and loved them. As a matter of fact I think she snuck a couple more than were her share of the basket :-)

Now, to find a perfect beer batter recipe and then make them here at home.....
