Jon,
 
    She played the Detroit Jazz Festival with a small band.  It ain't nothing like the Unforgettable recording.  She did a lot of those tunes with many of the parts being played on synthesizer.  As usual, it sounded real cheesy to an acoustical purist sound snob like me.  She swings like mad and the rhythm section does too but no horns as I remember.
 
    Dude,  I remember how great she looked more than I remember the backup band!  The gal has been through some stuff in her life but she looks and sounds reeeeeeeeeeeeal good.
 
    the band on the Unforgettable recording is absolutely as good as it gets.  Anything less than that would be a little disappointing.
