Bottom line seems to me is Do you really dig the way the horn plays? if you want to use it as a player and its nice but not exactly what you want or need, check around with guys that have had good success with adjustments to the horn or replacement leadpipes and/or bells etc..
If you like it the way it is..OR you want it for collector or sentimental reasons leave it be. It is really up to YOU. none of our opinions are worth a wooden nickel if you don't get something good out of the deal.
Your call, Warren. If you replace some parts and don't like it, YOU CAN PUT THE ORIGINALS BACK ON.
