Hey Greg,

The mouthpieces you will never use must be placed in some stretegic decorative pattern OR be relegated to the Tim Morrison Glad Trash Bag system of storage or some reasonable facsimile

As for the useful and semi useful ones, I sorta kinda use a size type arrangement and a little sorta kinda commercial, smaller shallower on one end or front side/back side with big orchestra/legit/solo kinda stuff opposite that.

THEN, after you use a bunch of different mouthpieces during practice sessions and gigs, switch gig bags and then have to switch cases and horns and mouthpiece pouches, over time, you will lose the Mouthpieces you are looking for. Then you will be forced to use a different mouthpiece for the gig ...........infinity.

In order to find and reorganize the mouthpieces and even BEGIN to use a
system again, you must look

1. through all your cases

2. all your gig bags

3. all the mouthpiece pouches

4. the mouthpiece shelf

5. The couch and under the cushions

6. on the ledge of your music stands

7. On the bedroom dresser

8. All your pants pockets

9. Your tux pockets

10. Your mute bag

11. The ash tray in the car

12. The kitchen counter

13. on the sink next to the mirror in the bathroom where you do your embouchure
     inspections

14. If you have little kids: the toy box, the sand box the bathtub and the toilet
       bowl.

15. Infinity

Its no wonder that guys have learned how to sound the same on any mouthpiece. They DIDN'T HAVE ANY CHOICE AT THE TIME CUZ THEY COULDN'T FIND THEIR MOUTHPIECE.

glenn, so much for a system, eh, bengry
