I have 2 Selmer Claude Gordon horns, one stock, and one with a Bach
72H bell. (Very interesting contrast between the two). The stock CG
is a large bore lightweight horn that plays easily and has a rather
bright sound as well as an easy high register. Works great as a
commercial/show horn, sizzles easily and can take a lot of wind. I
suspect the Benge CG would be somewhat similar, but I have never
played one. Dave Adams
