[TPIN] Possible FS: Monette B993

Due to my allergies to silver and gold mouthpieces I *might *be selling my
beautiful Brushed gold Monette B993.  I wish this wasn't the case but it
is.  Maybe a few of you read my posts in the past about my troubles with
plated mouthpieces.

I purchased this horn from Thompson music and love how it plays! It has the
best sound and scale I've ever had in any horn. The sound is amazing. It
just hurts too muchplaying plated mouthpieces and I must stay with my
plastic rimmed Curry pieces due to my allergies. It's my 4th Monette trumpet
and by far the best one I've owned. The Monette obviously plays better with
the Monette pieces I have.

The Curry's don't seem to line up in the horn (they line up nicely with my
other horns) and* I don't really want to start another endless mouthpiece
safari!*

I paid a little less than 8,000 and would sell for something close to that.
It comes with the Monette single case and no mouthpiece. I do have a few
Monette STC2-3 mouthpieces that I could include with a sale for the right
price.

Make any reasonable offer VERY close to my price. Nothing under 7500 will be
considered unless you have the following horns to trade:

Schilke B1, B5, B6
Prewar Besson (original condition)
Selmer Balanced Action (original condition)

I will not sell this horn in payments and on paypal. Certified Bank checks
only. If I don't receive any fair offers I'll gladly keep it in my
