Whether it's a lesson with a "Chop Doc" or a private weekly lesson. Make sure you know the price up front. I was visiting another state and set up a lesson with a Chop Doc that didn't have anything in writing concerning his rates. We had a verbal agreement on cost per hour but when it came time to settle up.......the rate was considerably higher. (I'm not sure if he was working me or what.) It was a little awkward for a while but we negotiated and it was worked out.
Agree on the price up front!
