[TPIN] Amado water key question Help!

Have you tried "snaking" out the tuning slide?  I have one of those pulsing water jet Water Pics for cleaning my teeth.  If I am in a hurry, I will fill the basin with water and hit the slides with the Water Pic until later on, when I can do it properly.

The Amado water key on the main slide is clogged which necessitates me  
pulling out the slide to eliminate the water, Is there a way to fix the problem  
myself without sending the horn out. Any help would be greatly  appreciated.
