Try this:  Find a small bowl (or large cup) in which to immerse the end of
the slide and water key.  Mix up a 50/50 solution of Simple Green and water,
place it in the bowl and then put the slide in.  Pour some of the solution
into the slide as well.  Just be sure there is sufficient solution to cover
the water key both inside the slide and out.  After soaking a few minutes
the key should be operable.  Snake the slide, rinse thoroughly with clear
water and let it air dry.  Then lubricate the water key with a drop of valve
oil.
