Lacquer B flat pocket trumpet, made in the '70s. Uses standard trumpet mouthpiece, not included. This is the original design. Actually a Benge ML twisted up tight. Plays like a real Benge 3X. Original lacquer with straight bell. Has minor wear at contact points, but no dents. Case is original and in great shape. That makes this one a collector. Serial number 275XX makes it manufactured around 1978.

I will sell this horn for best offer of $1000 US, or better, plus actual shipping and insurance anywhere in the world (Except where prohibited, i.e.: Italy). This horn will be advertised on TPIN, Trumpet Herald, and other lists. One week before I put it on EBay.
The Trumpet Gearhead at Dallas Music says:
"The famous Benge pocket trumpet was designed by Lou Duda, then an employee at Benge, dates to this period. The design has remained popular and UMI/Benge maintains the horn in their catalog. Zig Kanstul makes the nearly identical Kanstul and Burbank 5 star pocket trumpets. Lou Duda is the father of John Duda, formerly the brass specialist at Tulsa Band Instrument Co., and now one of the owners of Calicchio trumpets."

And:
"The famous and still much sought after Benge pocket trumpet was introduced in 1970, according to Donald Benge. In 1972, Zigmant Kanstul, after working at F.E. Olds & Son in Fullerton since the early 1950s, started to work for the company while in downtown Los Angeles, eventually becoming the shop foreman."

Photos will be sent on serious inquiry.
