I've been wracking my brain on this one, because I have played so many
fun shows - it's really hard to put my finger down on which is a fav.
Of those not mentioned, I really enjoy playing 1940s Radio Hour,
Beehive, Ain't Misbehavin and 1776 (the first show I ever played) - and
of course, who can't not enjoy playing "Hey Big Spender" from Sweet
Charity? Guys and Dolls is a blast, Sussical and Fiddler are fun too.
When we did Man of La Mancha here, it was a special treat, because they
wrote in an entracte to the second act with "The Impossible Dream" and I
got to play the tune (one of my favorite tunes and sentiments) - but
great tunes in it too. Caberet, Camelot, Music Man, Gypsy, Give My
Regards to Broadway, Applause, A Chorus Line, Oklahoma, Oliver, Annie,
WSS, Damn Yankees, Secret Garden, Parade, The King and I, My Fair Lady,
Mame, Peter Pan, even Cinderella and the list goes on and on (Geesh -
I've played a lot of shows)... What a wealth of great music out
there. Getting to do Chicago in the fall - really looking forward to that!

I can tell you my most unfavorite show to play... The Sound of Music.
What a boring trumpet book IMO... not one of my favorite things...
