Conversely, there's a bit of Debussy in some of Bix's music. Bix was a big fan of Debussy and listened to 
him a lot on the Victrola.

Bix's most famous piano tune "In A Mist" shows a lot of that influence.

If I recall correctly, Bix was on quite a buzz when he wrote that song. The original title was "In A Fog" 
which he changed later to hide the previous fact.
