[TPIN] Trumpet Trivia

Because I'm having a combination bad hair day and bad lip day, I thought I'd
do something frivolous with my time. This bit of trivia is more directed to
the older wheezer / geezers who might remember the TV show Super Circus. I
always enjoyed watching the band and enjoyed more watching the leader, Mary
Heartline (and so did my dad). Often, she was shown on the tube dancing
around with a trumpet in her hand. Did she actually play? While I did hear
her 'play' on one of the shows and sounded good, it wasn't her that played.
The real player who dubbed it in was of all people Ralph Marterie. Now there
was a fine horn player!
