[TPIN] Appropriate music for worship

The version I always heard was that singers would go from town to town and
sit on benches in the town square and sing songs that tell the news of one
town to another. Meistersingers, Minnesingers, troubadours, trouveres and
all that stuff.. Verbal history etc.
I like your version better though. :-)
