[TPIN] "Pea Shooter" trumpets

I think that Eric's opinion on terminology is the correct one. A
"pea-shooter" is considered to refer to the very small-bore trumpets
(around 0.438 inches or smaller), mostly from the 1920's through the
1940's, and not to the physical shape of these trumpets.

Many pea-shooters were not of the long, narrow profile (the Conn
Connstellation is an example).

The fact that many of these pea-shooter trumpets also had a long,
narrow profile was simply a coincidence, and the profile of these
horns was not an identifier of a peashooter bore size. The long,
narrow profile of these horns was sometimes referred to as a
"greyhound" profile, and in fact I believe that the Cleveland student
line of the King Co. had a horn of this long, narrow type that
actually had the model name, "Greyhound."

Best wishes,
