[TPIN] Keith Jarret on Wynton Marsalis (was Kenny G/Louis/Metheny)

Unfortunately, this is a commonly held opinion in the "jazz community."

I don't get it either.. The guy's playing and writing truly moves me and it
has nothing to do with trumpet acrobatics or anything like that. It reaches
me on another level as much as Clifford or Lee Morgan or Pops or Parker.

I have heard and read this sort of criticism for years and years and no
matter how hard I try I just don't get that point of view.
