This is why the primary job of the Musicians Union toady should be get
creative about securing the future of live music, NOT on just rating halls
and setting rates.
The worst thing that can happen is for this generation and the next to be
*completley* conditioned not to expect (or care about) live performance.
Lowering barriers to venues hiring live musicians is insurance for the art
tomorrow.

Why would you hire a lot of union musicians to play on broadway ??? In the
near future the electronic music will almost be indiscernible...
Most of you are screaming about this, however we let this happen in all
other aspects of our lives....
The world's economy is capitalistic and is driven only by MONEY...
