IMHO I would focus on a musical goal such as having a particular piece, solo or jazz sequence under my belt at the end. Then I would work back from that piece to define the different technical elements needed in order to play the music successfully.
   
  Mind you - I've been trying to do that with one or two Arban studies for 35 years now - not 30 days!
