While not all that big a deal, just for the record and clarification, I did
not write the above. Somehow by my response about Cordovoxes which I wrote
beneath the original, I seem to have gotten 'credit' for the original to
which I've received personal emails both in the negative and positive.
Basically, I responded about Cordovoxes more as something 'informational'
since I got the impression that the writer above wasn't aware there were
instruments in the accordion family that are more technically 'advanced'
than a basic accordion. Earlier, I did make an 'I couldn't resist it' crack
about accordionists. But I heard if first from my lady friend's brother who
does play accordion. Every time we get together, we mix it up. But it's all
in good fun. I've worked with fine accordionists for most of my playing life
including Navy bands that used accordion players in lieu of pianists and
really enjoyed it. Over the years, I learned that accordionists are no
slouches in handing back what we trumpet players dished out to them. Yet we
managed to get along fine without any major injuries. It's bad enough that
accordionists have that thing strapped on their backs for hours on end. 8-)

Thanking you,
BOB D
