That's funny. I did notice that valve fidgeting, and wondered if she were
having some sort of problem with it. She only did that on the E-fer, not
the Bb.
She sounded great. I heard a note that seemed a trifle out of tune in the
first movement, but it may have been the strings' fault. And there was an
almost-cuff in the third. Other than that, it was flawless, and VERY
musical. She did some things with dynamics that I've never heard before.
And she surprised me with her power on the fortes - I've never heard that on
her recordings. Also, her cadenza was original and brilliant.
And I understand she's supposed to be fairly cute ...
