There is no mixup that I can see. No one, least of all Ms. Balsom, said it only pertained to female trumpet players. I quoted an exceprt from a much longer article that she wrote about herself. It's a very good article and I included the link in the original post. She doesn't pretend to know what it's like for other people on the road or otherwise. And I wouldn't pretent to know what it's like for any player on the road, certainly not a female since I'm not one and could never know what that is like. The quote spoke to the original post about her fidgeting and possible nervousness. 

Any female road warriors on the list care to shed some light?
