Federal Broadcasting regulations. It's all explained by the owners in a thread at www.maynardferguson.com

Makes for pretty interesting reading.....once again the small entrepreneur gets hosed by regulations that can only be complied to by huge companies (for whom these regulations were originally devised)  Unfortunately it's the little guys that get hurt while things are sorted out by a slow moving bureaucracy. Jazz Player Radio served a very small niche market - trumpet players for the most part. Where else are we going to hear the music and player interviews that many of us enjoy so much? PBS or your local AM station? Highly unlikely. Too bad .....another choice taken away....
