Lets say that Bach made a reasonable trumpet for the price (if you have a
chance to try 10 trumpets before buying one).
The question is: It really worth the new price?
Now they are doing what is supossed they should do in the past, but a higher
price.
Next question: Will you pay the price? You can get a hand-made Lawler for
the same price (maybe less). Kanstul, Schilke, Callet... wich are really
consistent trumpets and cost the same or, sometimes, few bucks less.
Now I must say: Who needs Bach ???
There are lots of great makers out there...

I feel it is about time Bach raised there prices like this. From what I can
tell from the post strike horns I have played, they have greatly improved
production in terms of quality and consistency. This is exactly what we have
been asking them to do for decades. Raise the price, hire valuable builders
and bring the quality up.
I applaud them for this daring move.
