[TPIN] 6310Z flugel valves

All,
Here is my two cents on Yamalloy. I use the Schilke horns but I used to use Yamaha when in college. I found that if I squeeze the valve casing, I can hold down the 1st valve and whedn I let go of the death grip the valve goes back up. I always liked the sound of the yamahas but with the valve problems, I went to Schilke. I have enjoyed their craftsmanship for many years. I also have a Yamaha Z flug and an old Couesnon. Same valve problems with the Yamaha. I take it on the road because if it gets crunched, I can probably get another one EXACTLY like it. The Couesnon stays in the studio and jazz clubs.
