Ole,

I must ask where have you heard about Finland. We try to keep our 
existence as a secret being were we are:-) Just kidding.

Both 'Turvat Kuntoon' and its author Esko Heikkinen are well known in 
Finland. He used to play lead for many years in the top Finnish big band 
UMO. Currently he is the conductor of the Helsinki Police Band and 
teaches trumpet at the Jazz Department of Sibelius Academy.

Turvat kuntoon -method was review in the June 2000 ITG Journal.
I have used this method on and off with other chop-manuals and it has 
been inspiring book. I'm planning on spending the upcoming summer with it.
