[TPIN] antihistamines----impact on playing

    Antihistamines can cause drying of the eyes, mouth and other 
organs.  It's not dangerous, but can be annoying and even promote tooth 
decay, dry eyes and the like.

    You might want to discuss this with your Family Physician and try 
other kinds of antihistamines.... Allegra, Claritin, Zyrtec for example, 
and see if one causes less dryness.  The other remedy, which I recommend 
anyway, is to stay very well hydrated by drinking lots of water every 
day.  Some people find it helpful to avoid caffeinated drinks, as this 
promotes urination.  Others don't seem bothered by the caffeine.
