	It sure seems odd to me that they did a 2 year search and couldn't
find ANYONE for this position.

	That smells, and if it smells then there's gotta be something there
that's doing the stinkin'.

	There are a ton of really qualified people that could do an amazing
job there.

     I am not surprized anymore at how little our countrymen know about the
significance of jazz as an American artform. They don't know history, they
don't know the arts.  Most of the education administrators I've ever met
couldn't pass the history class I teach to teenagers.  They are clueless.
And unless it affects how they look to the community, they couldn't care
less.  They want to look good, period.  They'll change their mind of their
current stance makes them look bad in the community.
