Glenn,
Actually, there was a well known jazz piper by the name of Rufus Harley. He
even went so far as to wear a Scottish kilt when he performed. I can only
hope that if he played while being seated that he made sure he kept his
knees together. ;-)

If you can play a little dixieland on a banjo, that is cool.
But what I really want to hear is some dixieland bagpipes.
Since you can fill the bags with air and squeeze you could play the trumpet
in one hand and play the pipes with the other hand and your armpit.
Clark Terry plays a trumpet and a flugel at the same time, but I think tpt
and bag pipes would really rock. dude you could have a career path sitting
there.. Either a music career or a comedy act.
I think Travis is just jealous. Besides, he needs to be practicing right
now for his Ray Charles gig.
